Do weapons scale according to character size? - Guild Wars Forums

I have a warrior who is as small as possible and to me his hammer seems smaller than the same hammer wielded by a friend whose warrior is a real giant. Now I wonder if the weapon model is actually scaled to your character model or if my eyes deceive me.

yes, the larger your character is, the larger the item it carries will look.

i noticed it when i saw those huge things in sorrows furnace, their weapons are massive

Yeah, I think they have to scale or else some of the animations wouldn't really look right on different sized characters..

Makes sense when you think abou it, but I was a little disappointed to discover this after purposefully making a little stumpy warrior so that he could charge around bonking people with giant weapons

i always thought in FF8 the guys sword looked way too big...
